It now only prints part of a page from my iPad, and blank from my windows computer. Ther is a low ink warning, but according to the indicators, ther is still ink in them. The printer has only been idle for a week or so since printing the last job, which it did perfectly.
Any advice appreciated

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing printing issues with your HP DeskJet 2724 All-in-One Printer wherein it prints blank pages.
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor on the computer connected to the printer.

2. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
3. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
4. If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on and then click Retry.
5. If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
6. If the screen displays prompting to turn on printer updates, click Yes and continue.

Hi Rainbow23,
Thanks for your advice. I had been having low ink warnings and before I had received your advice, had checked that my printer was updated and turned it off at the mains and then back on.
I thought that I would change the ink cartridges, to see if that would make a difference. I put in 2 of your extra large cartridges purchased from Tesco. However, despite the fact that they were official new HP cartridges, my printer would not recognise either one or both, so I replaced them with 2 of your smaller cartridges which I also had. This time there was no problem and the printer worked ok. So I did not need to follow your advice this time, but it might benefit me in the future.
The problem now seems to be that you have to replace the ink jets before they are empty, when they indicate that they are getting low on ink, which seems to be a waste of ink.
Also, it is puzzling why my printer would not recognise new official HP cartridges. Is there a recognised problem with the larger cartridges? I was fortunate in that I had kept my receipt and my money was refunded by Tesco.
Thanks,
Wingcowyn
