Hi @Yorkie3
Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I'll be more than glad to help you out
I see that you replaced the black cartridge and now the printer is printing in Orange
I'd like to help.
Do you have an adequate amount of ink left in all the cartridges?
Try printing a Print Diagnostic Page and let me know how it looks.
-
Load plain, white paper in the tray.
-
On the printer control panel, touch the Settings icon
.
-
Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.
-
The printer prints the Print Quality Diagnostic report.
Remove all the cartridges and reinstall them firmly.
If the issue persists, please clean the Printhead.
-
Load plain, white paper in the tray.
-
On the printer control panel, touch the Settings icon
.
-
Touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead.
The printer cleans the printhead and prints a test page.
-
Check the test page for defects.
-
Repeat the Steps to clean the Printer 3 times if needed.

HP Photosmart 7525. Long time with not issues. A couple of months ago started having trouble with full ink cartridges yet photos turing out poorly. Cleaned cartridges several times still Cyan not working or black photo not working. Also getting occasional error messages "no print head detected". Reset multiple times, reseated cartridges, reseated print head, etc. Still occasional error msgs. Pulled and capped ink cartridges and taped tops also. Cleaned print head per instructions and let it dry overnight. Reinstalled print head and cartridges and ran a few quality reports. Still same problems. Ordered replacement OEM print head and when it was first installed kept getting same error. Reinstalled and all seemed ok yet still missing Cyan even with full ink. Found Cyan slot missing the rubber seal so canabalized old unit to fix that problem. Still no Cyan. Going to pull unit and clean out the Cyan port in case it has dried up while no seal was in place. The "Clean Cartridges" option is intermitent with Zero cyan or cyan with streaks. Will post after cleaning with Isopropyl alcohol solution.
