HP Desk Jet 3755. The printer is printing blank pages when I try to print a document. It does print information directly from the printer so it is not out of ink. Also the red info light will not turn off.

Hi @levnes,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it must be to see your HP DeskJet 3755 printing blank pages even though it prints information directly from the printer. Since we know it’s not out of ink, let’s try a few steps to get this fixed and also address the red info light staying on.

Check the cartridges

Make sure both cartridges (black and tri-color) are properly seated in their slots.

Open the cartridge door, remove them, and reinstall securely until they click in place.

Run a printhead cleaning

On the printer’s control panel, press the Setup button.

Go to Maintenance > Clean Cartridges.

Print the test page and check if the issue improves.

Align the printhead

From the same Maintenance menu, select Align Printer.

This helps if the ink is not being applied properly to the paper.

Update or reinstall the printer driver

On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.

Right-click the DeskJet 3755 → remove device.

Reinstall it using the latest driver from the HP Support website.

Check for firmware updates

Open the HP Smart app or visit the HP site to see if a firmware update is available. Updating can clear persistent errors that cause the info light to stay on.

Reset the printer

With the printer on, unplug the power cord from the back.

Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

This can clear minor hardware or sensor glitches.

I hope this helps.
