@appu1001, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is displaying a “Busy” message, it typically means the printer is currently processing a task or a previous job didn’t complete properly. Here are a few steps you can follow to resolve this:
Cancel Any Ongoing Task
- Press the Cancel or Stop button on the printer’s control panel.
- Wait a few seconds to see if the message clears.
Power Reset the Printer
- While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet first, then into the printer.
- Press the Power button if the printer doesn’t turn on automatically.
This helps clear any stuck processes or memory issues.
Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool (Windows/macOS)
If you're using a computer, the HP Smart app has a built-in tool to fix common issues:
- Download or open the HP Smart app.
- Go to Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
- Follow the prompts to resolve stuck jobs or connectivity issues.
Use Diagnose & Fix in the HP app to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support
Check for Driver or Firmware Updates
- Visit HP Software & Driver Downloads and enter your printer model.
- Download and install any available updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
