@appu1001, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is displaying a “Busy” message, it typically means the printer is currently processing a task or a previous job didn’t complete properly. Here are a few steps you can follow to resolve this:

Cancel Any Ongoing Task

  • Press the Cancel or Stop button on the printer’s control panel.
  • Wait a few seconds to see if the message clears.

Power Reset the Printer

  1. While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet first, then into the printer.
  4. Press the Power button if the printer doesn’t turn on automatically.

This helps clear any stuck processes or memory issues.

Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool (Windows/macOS)

If you're using a computer, the HP Smart app has a built-in tool to fix common issues:

  • Download or open the HP Smart app.
  • Go to Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the prompts to resolve stuck jobs or connectivity issues.

Use Diagnose & Fix in the HP app to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support

Check for Driver or Firmware Updates

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
