Hello,
I have unstalled and installed HP Deskjet 2510 series software a couple of times but it has not been launched when I clicked the icon many times on my computer. It is windows 10 and I could not figure out how to fix it.
Anybody can help me out, it would be greately appreciated.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions.
Keep me posted. 🙂

Hello,
Thank you for the detailed instruction. I have exactly followed it however, I still can't launch the printer icon on my computer desk-top. Once I uninstalled the software, I couldn't see any this HP printer at Devices and Printers menu so I don't have to delete or remove the ramnant HP printer.
The issue is still there anyway.
Thanks,
Elijah

Try installing the full featured driver software from this link and please let me know what happens, If possible send me a screenshot for better understanding. 🙂

Hello again,
The full featured driver you linked was exactly the same as I installed on my computer. As you see the picture on the left, the issue is that the printer icon on the desktop couldn't not open or be launched when I click it many times.
Hope it is clear for you and looking forward to getting a solution.
Thanks.

If that's the case, try creating a new user profile with the windows and try installing it. You may also try to install windows built-in drivers and check if it helps.
Let me know. 🙂

I don't know what you mean by creating a new user profile. You mean I need to delete my info as a administrator and put it back? And what you mean by windows built-in driver? I don't totally get what you mean and how to do it. Would you give me more clarifications for them?

To create a new user account with windows:
Tap the Windows icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Tap Accounts.
4. Select Family & other users.
5. Tap "Add someone else to this PC."
6. Select "I don't have this person's sign-in information."
7. Select "Add a user without a Microsoft account."
8. Enter a username, type the account's password twice, enter a clue and select Next.
9.Tap the Windows icon.
10. Select the User icon at the upper left corner of the Start menu.
11. Select the new user. You'll then sign into your account with your password from step 8.
You're now using a non-Administrator account!
Once done, log into the newly created account, and then follow this link to install windows built in driver for the printer.
Keep me posted. 🙂

Hello,
Thank you for your kind instruction. I was able to install built-in software in another account. However, it is not what I wanted to see as a solution. It doesn't have features that the software has, ie. cartridge status, printing alignment setting/adjustment. Is there any way to launch the software to use full features?
Thanks.

In the other account, download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions.
Let me know if it worked. 🙂
