I understand your HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer is unable to access the network using the HP Smart app,
here are some steps to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Check Network Connection
- Ensure your printer is powered on and within range of your WiFi network.
- Verify that your printer is connected to the same WiFi network as your computer or mobile device.
2. Restart Devices
- Restart your printer, router, and computer or mobile device to refresh network connections.
- Unplug the router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Wait for the router to fully restart before proceeding.
3. Update HP Smart App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device. Check for updates in your device’s app store or on the HP website.
4. Reconfigure Wireless Settings
- Use the HP Smart app to reconfigure your printer's wireless settings:
- Open the HP Smart app and select your printer.
- Go to "Printer Settings" or "Network Settings."
- Select "Restore Network Settings" or "Wireless Setup Wizard" and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer to your WiFi network.
5. Use the Printer’s Control Panel
- Use the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer’s control panel:
- On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and Information button at the same time to print a network configuration page.
- Follow the steps on the network configuration page to connect your printer to the network.
6. Check Firewall and Security Settings

9. Check WiFi Signal
- Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices that might interfere with the WiFi signal between the router and the printer.
10. Reinstall HP Smart App
- Uninstall the HP Smart app and then reinstall it. Reconnect the printer through the newly installed app.
