Product: hp color laserjet cp2025dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

have HP color laserjet cp2025dn.  The printer itself has a problem. If I try to print a demo page from the menu on the printer, the printer starts to print, then stops quickly then restarts then stops repeatedly, I have checked for paper jams, have flashed the firmware, have reset the NVRAM and nothing works.  any ideas?

Check your power source, inadequate power can cause a printer to reboot as can plugging the printer into a USB or a surge protector. Plug printer into a different outlet and see if the problem follows.

I tried a different outlet.. did not work.  It seems it stops just as it is going to grab the paper then restarts. It does not work from any paper tray.

Rereading your original post and something is not clear. Is the printer actually restarting as in powering off or is it just that it is trying to pull paper and is not successful? On this model when the pickup roller gets worn, it will repeatedly try to pull paper but is never successful. Pickup roller is part number RM1-4426
