1. Check Connection Status
- Wi-Fi: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
- Press the Information “i” button on the printer to print a network status report. This can show if it's truly connected.
- USB: If you’re using USB, unplug and replug the cable, and try a different port if needed.
2. Restart Everything
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
- Restart your computer or phone.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
3. Run HP Smart App (Recommended)
If you don’t already have it, install the HP Smart app on your device:
It helps you:
- Check ink levels
- Run print/scanner tests
- Update firmware
- Reset the wireless setup if needed
