If I past a clip from Snipping tool into a Word 2007 document, part of the clip will not print, and the part thst is printed is stretched /enlarged.
I put a clip from snipping tool on a page in Word and inserted a jpeg on the same page.
The jpeg printed perfectly, the snipping tool clip was cut.
If I put severl clips on a page, they are all cut at different locations.
How can I fix this?
Sometimes this is a long document so snipping a page at a time is impractical.
Also, printing to pdf and then printing the pdf is impracttical and should not be neccessary.

Hi @rearourman,
Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I understand that your printer has a print quality issue.
Don't worry I'll be glad to help.
When you are trying to print from the snipping tool, the toll will not save the file in regular size.
However, When you save the image to JPEG the image will shrink to regular size.
Do get back to me as I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. Said that, if I have helped you resolve the issue.
Feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'
Have a great day Ahead!

I am not printing from snipping tool.
I past images from snipping tool into a word document.
When I print the word document, part of every snipping tool image is not printed, and the bit that is printed is stretched.
Each image is cut vertically but in a differernt location than the others - it is not like a straight liner down the page.
In print preview, everything is fine, all images are visible.
I am in Ireland.
I got an email telling me to contact UK Helpdesk on 289 7--8.
I have been dialling that number for an hour but can't get any answer.
Is there another number I can ring?

Thanks HP - my computer just got hacked, with the help of this forum.
The hackers used your forum to send me an email which seemed to come from HP.
It gave me a phone number to ring to sort out my printer.
They wanted to log into my computer to interogate the printer - and I gave them access, and helped them install software on my computer!!!! No need tp guess what that software will do!
So thanks to your forum, I now have to reformat my harddrive, and set up the pc again, lose all my files, etc.
I will never be using a HP forum again.
And I got no information from HP about how to fix my printer.

Sorry I'm coming here pretty late, but I'm having exact same problem.
HP OfficeJet Pro 6978
Windows 7 32-bit
What if you don't have PDF software? (as you advise to use)
How does this work with Word?
Can something work if saving the Snip by using jpg, and doing something from there?
I also have more than one Snip that I'm placing on one word document. That means a few jpg's. (do I copy each jpg and paste into the one Word doc?)
Is there something one can do on the printer, like changing a format through Settings? So that the whole copied Snip will fit onto the printed page?
Thanks so much!
