Hi @Chuckles5331

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for flagging that. The E0 error on the HP ENVY 6452e typically means there's a problem with one or both ink cartridges—either they're not seated properly, incompatible, or have dirty contacts.

Here's how to fix it:

Step-by-Step Fix for E0 Error

1. Power Down Safely

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the wall
  • Wait 60 seconds to fully reset

2. Check and Reseat Cartridges

  • Open the cartridge access door
  • Remove both the black and tri-color cartridges
  • Inspect for damage or debris
  • Reinsert them firmly until they click into place

3. Clean Cartridge Contacts

  • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water
  • Gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer
  • Let everything dry before reinstalling

4. Restart and Test

  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on
  • Check if the error clears
  • Try printing a test page

Still Not Working?

If the error persists:

  • Make sure you're using genuine HP cartridges compatible with the 6452e
  • Try replacing the cartridge that might be causing the issue
  • Update firmware via the HP Smart app

Let me know what you see after reseating and cleaning the cartridges—I’ll help you troubleshoot further if needed. You're doing great sticking with this!
