I've gone through the recommended steps to fix this, several times, without success.  After unplugging, waiting 60 seconds+, replugging and starting up, I was able to print ONE PAGE successfully.  Then the printhead problem came back up again.  I ran through the "fix steps" two more times...no success.  This is the second HP printer I've had in past 4 yrs that showed this error.  I'm not about to buy another HP printer if this issue hasn't been fixed by HP.  I've also tried "cleaning" the printhead by passing it over a wet paper towel several times, removing LOTS of ink on the bottom of the printhead.  I also cleaned up a bunch of wet ink I saw to the right of the printhead, in the "bottom" of the housing, near a ribbon cable.  No difference.
