I have a laserjet pro mfp m426. How can I set it to automatically print both sides?

Hello Veth2;

Normally the printer will print double sided from the factory, so most likely you have to check on the software side of the things to make sure the duplex (print on both sides) option is enabled. For instance: if you are running Windows and want to print a Word document, you go to file> print and then you will see the printer preferences. Click there and in the Printing Shortcut tab, the option for printing on both sides should be set to "Yes, flip over". Should look something like this:

You have to check and make sure the option is exactly shown as the one highlighted above: if such option says anything about printing both sides manually or the options in the dropdown menu are not showing anything about printing on both sides, the problem is the driver itself and has to be reinstalled. If that is the case, you need to remove the printer from the computer, remove drivers, reboot computer and then either reinstall the regular M426 drivers, or install Universal Print Driver from www.hp.com/go/upd
