This is the first occasion we have tried to print pictures onto photographic paper - the images are a collage created in MS publisher and are mostly fine, but... the reds / pinks are too vibrant.
We have tried copying a photograh directly from the printer... there the reds were unsaturated.
Any advice gratefully received... thanks
P.S. have just upgraded drivers in response to an auto-message from HP - went fine

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Are you using HP glossy photo paper?
- Have you tried printing with a different photo paper?
Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps to clean the printhead and check if it helps.
-
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu.
-
Open the Printer Maintenance menu.
-
If necessary, open the Tools menu, and then touch Clean Printhead.
A test page prints.
-
Examine the test page.
-
If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. If necessary, repeat these steps for the third cleaning cycle.
NOTE:
If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.
-
If the print quality is acceptable, touch Done.
-
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
