Hi @AliG57,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

For your HP Smart Tank 7305 printer, the maximum paper weight you can use is generally around 300 GSM. Watercolor paper often exceeds this weight, so it's important to check the specific weight of the paper you're using. If your watercolor paper is thicker than 300 GSM, it might cause issues with feeding or damage the printer. Always refer to the printer's user manual or HP's official support to confirm the maximum paper weight for your specific model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for your very helpful advice, I have tried printing on 300gsm, but it didn't go through properly, and I heard a grinding sound so I'm steering clear of 300gsm and have reduced to 160 - 200gsm to be safe.

Hello again,

I bought some 160gsm paper, hoping that this would sort my problem, but I'm still unable to print, my printer is not picking up the paper.

Any ideas?
