My pdf file is printed in the wrong color, blue instead of yellow. How can I solve this?

This might be possible due to any content of the document.

Please open the PDF file using Adobe Reader, then open the print dialog.

Click the Advanced button and check the box next to Print as Image, then press OK.

Now try printing and check if you may see any difference.

If the same persists, are those PDFs printed into an A4 paper, am I right?

Please let me know the results,

Shlomi

Hi,

Please print and evaluate a Printer Status Report, can you see any similar behavior or the expected results as the shown example?

Additionally, do you print an A3 or A4/Letter document? may you see any difference when printing to a different paper size?

Hi ShlomiL,

Thanks for your repsons. I just printed the printer status on A4 paperformat and everything seems to be okay.

In the mean time I discovered that printing documents using Word is working well; also printing pdf documents using Acrobat Reader works well, and also printing directly from the Indesign application is working perfect.

The problem only appears to occur when I print PDFs that are made while using my custom calculation software (printing quotations and invoices); I discovered that those pdf's are made within the program (called Multipress) using PDF Creator.

Probably this causes the problem?

Hi ShlomiL,

Just tried your suggestion and yes, it works. Now the document is printed in the right color as it should be. I'm glad you gave me the solution, thanks!
