Hi @tim058,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The message "GET/Devmgmt/ProductstatusDyn.xml HTTP1.1 Host: localhost" printing repeatedly is usually caused by a misconfigured or corrupted HP printer driver or software trying to send status requests. Here’s how to fix it:

Remove & Reinstall the Printer

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet 8022, click Remove device.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Reinstall the printer from HP Smart or HP’s official website.

Check Default Print Settings

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your printer > Printing Preferences.
  • Make sure there are no custom print jobs or test scripts saved in the queue.

Disable Status Notifications in HP Smart App

  • Open HP Smart.
  • Go to Printer Settings and disable Status Reports.

Reset the Print Spooler

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and choose Restart.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit HP Support, enter your printer model, and check for firmware updates.

After trying these steps, print a test page to see if the issue is resolved. Let me know if the message still prints! 😊

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,
