I am trying to print envelopes and it will print a few then sometimes it will cut off top part of the first line. So if I print 5 I may have one or two cut the top line, The rest of the address prints fine. I tried to go down one space further on the envelope, but it did the same thing. I don't believe it is an ink problem as I have enough replaced the black cartridge. The first time I printed it was perfect. I would fill it to the correct level with envelopes and use word for my mailing.

True - should work.
Some ideas...
Give up and print one envelope at a time. Meh.
The printer might be showing signs of "wear and tear" -- that is, long years of service.
You can try cleaning the printer rollers - this might help if the problem is related to the envelopes "sticking" along the path.
You could try the "fall back" Restart Everything operation to clear the instructions and "start fresh" (sort of).
True, too, that envelopes have only a limited number of things you can change.
I don't think the general alignment is wrong else you'd never get even one or two good envelopes.
You could try changing the fonts - this is not likely to help but maybe a heavier, larger font would slow down the printing "just enough" that each envelope would load and print as expected.
You could try reloading the full driver printer software.
If the source of the problem is a tiny mistake in the existing print driver, uninstalling / installing the driver might clear any broken links, missing libraries, or other gremlins that have invaded the code.
Check and redo the multitude of general fixes

and...
Make sure the printer is plugged into a wall socket as opposed to a surge protector.
Do this to at least check for any difference in performance.
True - by itself, this won't likely make a difference -- could be a contributor!
