I can't print anything on my printer.
I've done everything the virtual "assistant" asked.
I've updated the drivers.
I've removed the printer from my PC.
I've restarted the printer.
I've changed the Wi-Fi connection.
I've fixed the spooler issue.

But the problem persists:
All my printouts are stuck in the print queue, and even Windows recognizes that my printer "requires attention."

Hi @mauroapetz,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I can feel how deeply frustrating this must be, especially when you’ve already done everything right and your printer still refuses to cooperate. You deserve a smooth, reliable experience, not this kind of disruption when you're trying to get work done.

Let’s walk through a targeted fix for your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2774 printer that’s stuck in the print queue and showing “requires attention” in Windows.

Step-by-Step Fix: Clear the Print Queue & Reset Services

1. Manually Clear the Print Queue

Sometimes jobs get stuck and block everything else.

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and choose Stop.
  • Open File Explorer and go to:
    C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
  • Delete all files in this folder (these are stuck print jobs).
  • Go back to services.msc, right-click Print Spooler, and choose Start.

2. Reinstall the Printer Using HP’s Official Method

Even if you’ve removed it before, this method ensures a clean reinstall.

3. Run HP’s Printer Diagnostic Tool

HP has a built-in tool that can detect and fix issues like stuck queues, offline status, and driver conflicts.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
