@Karelm51, Thanks for your response and time.
Thanks for trying out the steps.
I have checked the specifications of your printer.
Do you have duplexer installed on your printer? The duplexer is an optional accessory on your printer.
Unless you have a duplexer installed on your printer you cannot print double side.
Refer the product specifications page for more information.
Also, refer this article to know how to print on Both Sides of the Paper.
I'll watch your reply!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂

@Karelm51, Thanks for your response.
Thanks for trying out the steps.
As you mentioned you have a duplex on your printer.
Did you try the steps in my previous thread to configure printer printing on both sides article?
As you mentioned the issue still persists printing two-sided.
Please update the apple print drivers to OSX 5.0.
Use this link to update the printer drivers from apple website directly.

Hello Mr Robot,
I updatet the driver.
I did try your first advice to print only odd pages, the result is its prints page 1 and on the back page 3 upside down, I do'nt see how this can help me.
I read the article, the printer is connected with Lan, no airprint as far as I can see, printer = "officejet 7610 series"
I updated the driver first.
The printer prints double sided but the even pages are upside down, it make no difference if i choose short sidede binding or long sided binding.
I wonder if the printer is perhaps broken?

@Karelm51, Thanks for your response and time.
Kudos to you for trying out the steps.
As you mentioned after updating the drivers the issue still persists.
Have you tried printing using a different application?
What application are you using to print?
Please try the steps recommended below.
Click on the 'Properties' button next to the selected printer, work through the tabs for the printer and see if there is an option for like "Binding Option". For the "portrait" mode you turn the page on the long edge, for 'landscape' you turn the page on the short edge. But you flip the page in portrait mode on the short edge and on the long edge for the landscape mode.
When you change the orientation mode of the page, you also need to change the binding edge.
You also need to check the paper size, source, scaling and layout settings for Acrobat and your selected printer.
A two-sided option that allows you to switch between having to flip the page along the long edge or the short edge. If you go to where you selected your two-sided printing and change the printing to the other option, the second page will print with the correct orientation.
I'll watch your reply!
Have a pleasant day ahead! 🙂

Earlier I wrote that Airprint was not configured on this priner, I opened system configuration I saw that the printer is named as HP Series 7610 Airprintprinter :smileyembarrassed:
I opened the webpage of the printer en there too airprint is configured.
Maybe this is the problem?
How do I disable airprint?
I print from Word and Acrobat reader.
