Getting a "Do not use setup Cartridges" HP Office Jet Pro 8710.  How can I get past this or bypass it. 

 

I have loved HP printers in the past by they are just a pain lately.  Please help.  Frustrated HP OWNER.

@RSAM8634, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

SETUP ink cartridges are used only to set up a new HP printer or printhead and supply ink for the first series of your print jobs. They are specially designed to initialize a printer and calibrate ink levels.

 

Check on the ink cartridges installed in the printer if it has the word SETUP on it. You will have to use regular HP ink cartridges once the printer has been initialized or if this is not the first time you are setting up the printer. 

 

Which ink cartridge is indicated in the error?
