I cannot print. An error message says that the "toner overflow cartridge is full" and must be changed. I do not know what that is or how to access it and do not see any place to order a replacement. Please share any advice. I deperately need to get my printer operational again. [Personal Information Removed]

Hi @vortiz10,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your Samsung Xpress C1860fw printer is indicating an error related to the toner waste cartridge being full. Here’s how you can address this issue.
Understanding the Issue:
In many laser printers, including the C1860fw, there is a waste toner container that collects excess toner that is not used during the printing process. Over time, this container fills up and needs to be replaced or emptied. When it becomes full, the printer will typically display an error message indicating that the waste toner container is full and needs to be replaced.
Steps to Resolve the Issue:
Locate the Waste Toner Container:
- The waste toner container is usually located inside the printer, often near the toner cartridges. It's a separate unit from the toner cartridges themselves.
Remove and Empty or Replace the Waste Toner Container:
- Open the printer as if you were going to replace a toner cartridge. Look for a smaller unit adjacent to or near the toner cartridges that collects waste toner.
- Depending on the printer model, you might need to:
- Remove the waste toner container and empty its contents into a plastic bag or dispose of it properly.
- Replace the waste toner container with a new one if it is not designed to be emptied and reused.
Ordering a Replacement:
- To find a replacement waste toner container, you can visit Samsung’s official website, or check with local office supply stores or online retailers that carry printer supplies.
- Search for "Samsung C1860fw waste toner container" or a similar query to find the correct part.
Reset the Printer:
- After replacing or emptying the waste toner container, you might need to reset the printer to clear the error message and resume printing. Instructions for resetting can usually be found in the printer’s manual or on Samsung’s support website.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the "toner overflow cartridge is full" error on your Samsung Xpress C1860fw printer and get it operational again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
