My print dialog on the computer says "Printing - The printer is in use." However, when I check the printer, nothing is happening. I'm only printing a one page pdf, with some large black text. Not sure why it is taking so long, and that nothing is seeming to happen. I checked, and printer is connected to the network. I also tried removing it and adding it again in Settings but it didn't help. Thanks.

@nkkc, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Have you tried printing different types of documents like Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
