I'm getting the same error message as "Steve42" five weeks ago...
I try to print any document ... first it was a photo, but now I can't print anything, even a Pages text document. I get the same error message: "Unable to print file. File is corrupt."
This printer is only three months old and I love it ... very disappointing to have this hassle.
It was working fine, till I decided to print a phot in black & white instead of color. That's when the error messages started, even after I changed it back to color.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Clopter

I think something went wrong in the printer spooler. First thing I would do would try a self-test print page via the printer control panel. The results would tell you whats wrong with the printer. If that goes well, the next thing to do would be to remove the printer from the computer and uninstall then reinstall the software and printer driver. That usually fixes issues like this.

I have had the same problem. I am unable to print web pages or accounts received on line or attachments to emails even if they are just word documents. I have an MFP M426fdn which is about 6 weeks old. Yesterday I spent a large amount of the day on the telephone or on line with HP. I contacted the distributor from whom I purchased the printer but they were unable to help me because they said it would void the warranty and only HP could help me. All they could tell me to do was download a new driver which I have done (twice). I have also disconnected the printer from the power. This morning I switched on, reconnected the printer, downloaded the up to date driver and still the problen isn't fixed. HP can't help and the distributor won't help. Don't know what else I can try.

Computer MacBook Pro (early 2015)
OS X 10.11.6
I was having the "file is corrupt" problem, preventing printing anything beyond the first page.
I followed the recommended steps of ensuring that the printer is not plugged into a power strip, disconnecting the printer, deleting the printer on my Mac, restarting the Mac and the printer, installing the latest drivers, reinstalling the printer on the Mac, and now the printer still fails to print after the first page, BUT WITHOUT THE ERROR MESSAGE. This is not an improvement.
This problem occurs printing from a variety of software, including several web browsers.
The printer works fine printing from MS Windows.
