Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,

I have a printer HP Deskjet 3752 - yesterday the paper somehow pushed open the cartridge door from inside (the paper wasn't stuck or anything weird beyond that). I pulled out the paper sheet the normal way and closed the door, since then I am getting the message that the door is open. I read past posts on this issue and attempted to resolve myself, I turned it off and on, unplugged for at least a minute and turned back on, restarted my computer, tried printing from another source, checked that there was nothing blocking the door (there isn't, it clicks back into place the way its supposed to).

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions!

Thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that you are getting the “Door open” message on your printer. To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you getting this message on the printer control panel or on your PC?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Door Open' Error Message Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
