I just installed new 950 and 951 cartridges. I then received the following message " There is a problem with the printer or ink system. TUrn the printer off then on. If problem persists, contact HP". Since there is no way to "contact HP" directly, can anyonw help me? Printer was working fine until I installed the new cartridges.

Thank you for the link. I had already gone through the steps up to removing the cartridge head, before contacting the forum, by following the Assistant. I changed out the black cartridge a few months ago, so I knew how to do that, carefully. Just changed out the color ones this time. Still get the "printer failure" on the printer screen, no code. I am nervous about monkeying with the cartridge head; I could make matters worse than they are. Should I take the printer back to Staples? It is still is warranty through March 30.
