If you experience a rendering fail error when trying to print on your HP OfficeJet 8122e All-in-One printer while using Microsoft Windows 11, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Update Printer Drivers: Ensure you have the latest HP printer drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.
- Go to the HP Support website.
- Enter your printer model (HP OfficeJet 8122e) in the search bar.
- Choose your operating system (Windows 11) and download the latest driver.
Check Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date as Microsoft often releases updates that include fixes for printer-related issues.
- Go to Settings > Windows Update.
- Check for updates and install any available updates.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
Check Printer Spooler Service:
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Locate Print Spooler in the list, right-click on it and select Restart.
Disable 'Use Printer Offline' Mode:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your printer, click on Open queue.
- In the queue window, make sure Use Printer Offline is not checked.
Reinstall Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your printer and click Remove device.
- Add the printer again by clicking on Add a printer or scanner.
