Hi @libra787,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're unable to send a print job from your Android phone to your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer, here are some potential causes and troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Printer and Phone Connection

  • Ensure that both your Android phone and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If you are using Bluetooth or a direct connection, make sure it's set up properly.

2. Enable Wi-Fi Direct or HP Wireless Direct (If applicable) HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

  • If your printer and phone can't connect through Wi-Fi, try enabling Wi-Fi Direct or HP Wireless Direct on your printer. You can usually do this through the printer's settings or control panel.

3. Install or Update HP Print Service Plugin HP printer setup (Print Service Plugin for Android)

  • Go to your Android phone's Settings > Apps > HP Print Service Plugin. Ensure it's installed and updated.
  • If it's not installed, go to the Google Play Store and install it.
  • Make sure the HP Print Service Plugin is enabled under Settings > Printing.

4. Use the HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

  • The HP Smart app often provides more stability for printing from mobile devices. Ensure the app is installed, and your printer is correctly set up within the app.
  • Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and try printing directly from there.

5. Check Printer Status

  • Ensure the printer is powered on, connected to the network, and ready to receive print jobs.
  • Check for any error messages or paper jams on the printer.

6. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates from the printer’s control panel or via the HP Smart app.

7. Restart Printer and Phone

  • Sometimes simply restarting the printer and your Android phone can resolve connection issues.

8. Try a Different App or Method

  • You can try printing using Google Cloud Print (if your printer supports it) or third-party apps like "PrinterShare" if direct printing is not working.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
