I printed a document on a  preprinted stationary and the ink must have rubbed off on the rollers because when I print on clean paper, I am getting a streak of the print color from the stationary.  How do I clean the rollers?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting streaks while printing.

  • Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Meanwhile:

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  3. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic Page prints.

Clean the printhead

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.

    A test page prints.

  4. Examine the test page.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage, if necessary.
