HP 9015e printer ,Changed ink cartridge and printer has been stuck for hours with error "validating...please wait." Did a total reset, unplugged cord from wall and unit etc., multiple times and restarted the computer.  No change, stuck in same place.

I understand that your printer is stuck at validating. I am glad to assist you.

 

Thanks for trying the initial troubleshooting steps, Kudos to you.

 

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
