Hi! Don´t send me message to go to other department, please...
I Have a new HP OfficeJet 7510 series printer, and I want to know, if it is compatible with sublimation transfer papers..is it? If not, are ther another way of changing the cartridges or fill them with sublimation ink? Or do My HP cartriges already compatible and ready with this type of transfers to t-shirts I want to do? There are other types of paper, but I´m in buying process of papers..so..have some doubts.. Because for personalizing cups and pens, the papers say to use with sublimation printers like some Epson (sorry for referring).. Thanks and regards!

Hi! Nope... I figured already and this printer nor others from HP, can print sublimation work!! The sublimation inks, are diferent, because they have a reaction to temperature when they are used for transfers in diferent materials, including Polyester! Sublimation don´t work for Cotton! This printing papers that we often see in stores saying they are suitible for transfer with inkjet printers, are NO GOOD, because as I realised later, is very obvios for me now.... Inkjet Inks are developed for paper use... that simple...!!! So if anybody use them for transfers, they crack, can´t get water nor sweat..and the color won´t be very good, even for the 10 or 15 minutes someone would use the T-Shirt or whatsoewer.. I´m a HP fan, and it's to bad that HP don´t have any Sublimation Printer.. One Tip: For textiles, it is possible to use some Laser printers with proper transfer papers, but there is needed a heat press machine! For Cotton use with color printing, the best are Chromablast Printers. Color Laser Printers are o.k. too.. and can print White some of them.. Hope this can be useful, so it would have been to me, when I was searching for answers..! Regards.. a Hug for the guys, and a kiss for the girls..(removed content)

Here is a link to the paper handling specifications for your printer: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02948308
It doesnt specifically mention sublimation transfer papers so I can not say for sure if it will be suitable. I did a quick google search and saw that inkjet printers are a good choice of printer type for this printing. So if you already have this printer you wouldn't need to buy any alternative cartridges. I'd suggest printing one or two test pages first on sublimation paper before doing any large print jobs!
Hope this helps!
However, the opinions expressed are solely my own and not the opinions of HP.
