I need help with my printer that went out o f warranty in 2011.
It's been a good lil printer, but I haven't used it for awhile. I'm getting an error message saying Ink system failure.
Am I doomed, or is it fixable?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Resolving 'Ink System Failure', 'System Supply Problem' Errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Since the device is out of warranty, and we've concluded that this is a hardware malfunction, I may have a few pointers/suggestions to help you out, however, since this suggestions are limited to you and your printer alone, I'd like to send out a private message with those details.
