Printing photos are unclear and seem to be missing color. I tried to print just black and white but the print came out not black and white. After troubleshooting and running a test page, black text is grey. All my ink levels are fine. The printer is up to date.

I understand the print quality is not good. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Kindly perform steps 2, 13, and 9 respectively from this document.
Note: Clean the printhead up to 3 times for better print quality.
Restart the printer.
Try making a color/black copy from the scanner glass and check the print quality or you may try printing.
