According to the users guide for your 2700e printer, it can operate at 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

Get a network report as described on page 9 and verify that the printer is connected to your modem and is not in WiFi direct mode.

The 2.4ghz band is slow but has a longer reach.  The 5 is faster but may have trouble going through walls that have metal or brick.

Log into your modem, select different SSIDs for each band, and find the channel that has the least amount of congestion

Be sure to find the channel that has the least amount of noiseBestChannel.png
Different names for each band:

I have an Arris modem, yours may be different. This tutorial is helpful. The username might be admin and the password should be printed somewhere on the modem. If not, then use that tutorial. Use a different name for the 2.4 and the 5ghz bands. To keep it simple, use the same password and use only numeric digits such as someone's phone number. When in the router, run the app that finds the channel with the least amount of noise for both bands.

This video shows how to connect to the Modem.  Do not use step 2, the WiFi direct method
