Hi,

I bought a new printer and having some difficulties trying to set up eprint. I always get this message:

"the printer could not run the Web Access test. The server might be busy or temporarily unavailable."

I tried restarting the router, the laptop and the printer with no luck. I tried to update it from the printer display and my laptop.

I do not know how to do it! Can you please advise what to do.

I believe its a web services connectivity issue, let's try these steps:

Please ensure the printer is up-to-date with its firmware. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest firmware update from here.

Once you are up-to-date with the firmware, please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.

For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.

Hi,

I am having the same issue but with the ENVY 5030. I tried the solution you suggest but it didn't work, any ideas? I would like to set up Instant Ink but cannot without this Web Access.
