Hi @PAUL1719 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your printer settings might be configured to save the document instead of printing it directly. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  • Check Printer Settings: Open the printer settings on your computer and make sure that the default action is set to "Print" rather than "Save." This can usually be found in the printer properties or preferences.
  • Print Preview: Before printing, check if there's an option for print preview. Ensure that the preview shows the document as you expect it to print. If it looks correct, proceed with printing from the preview window.
  • File Format: Ensure that the document you're trying to print is in a format supported by your printer (e.g., PDF, Word document, etc.). If it's an unusual file format, try converting it to a more common format and then printing.
  • Driver Update: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your HP DeskJet 2132 printer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. HP DeskJet 2132 All-in-One Printer Software and Driver
  • Test Print: Try printing a different document or a test page to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to a certain document or if it's a broader issue with your printer settings.
  • Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, try resetting your printer to its default settings. This can often resolve any configuration issues that may be causing the problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
