Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
- Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
- Turn on the printer again and check if the error persists.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Make sure your printer is connected to the internet.
- Go to the printer's control panel, select the Setup menu, and check for available firmware updates.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install any updates.
Reset the Printer:
- Sometimes resetting the printer to its default settings can resolve issues.
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Setup menu, and look for the Restore Default Settings option. Confirm to reset the printer.
Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or any obstructions in the printer. Open the printer’s access doors and check inside for any visible issues.
