can photo fabric be used in officejet 6300 series printer?   I want to use a picture in a quilt

Printers are generally not able to properly handle fabrics, but a common solution is to print on an iron-on transfer (such as the one here) and then iron onto the fabric. The document here has information on using iron-on transfer paper.  The document here may also be helpful.

 

Note the image from the iron-on transfer will be a mirror image.  You may want to mirror the image in your imaging software before printing so the image will come out properly. A program such as HP Photo Creations has an option for this.

 

Note:  you do not need to use HP brand iron-on transfer.  If you buy elsewhere I would suggest a "cool peel" style.  In the past I used transfer paper that needed to be peeled off the fabric while hot, it was more difficult to use.  The cool peel paper is ironed on and then peeled off after ironing.
