@lostinspace22, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code EBS00P0013 typically indicates a problem with the printer's initialization process. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

  1. Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  2. Check Connections: Ensure all cables (power, USB, Ethernet) are securely connected and not damaged.
  3. Update Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can find updates on the HP website
  4. Reset the printer:
    1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
    2. Touch Network Setup.
    3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
    4. Touch Yes.
    5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Also, please uninstall and reinstall HP Smart application.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
