Pper jam message, but no jam found. Says move print cartridge to other side. MIne is stuck on right side. Cannot move to left to check mor jam.

Welcome to HP support community.
Reset the printer.
-
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
-
Try to print.
If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here
And if the issue still persists, I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on "Continue as guest".
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Thank you. That is what one of the hp fixes said to do. I did it and it did not work. The print cartrige carrier does not move under any condition. I cannot move it manually. It is in place on far right of track. Doesn't move when turn on or off or any time. So. I think this ois a dead printer at this time. I have so far spent 3 dys playing with it. Prbably foolish, but I have ordered the excaact same printer for delivery on 3/27. But I am still curious how there could be a paper jam all the way to the right side of ink carrage/.

This could be a hardware issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.

Thank you Sandytech20. I followed you imstruction to clear paper jam. Did not work, unfortunately. The ink carriage does not move at all.. One cannot log in a guest. No place on web site for that. Base numberis an hours wait. Pass on that.. I aml left with negative thoughts. IUnfortunately, I have been using HP printer for 20 years. nEver any paroblem like this.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
