Help!
PROBLEM:
When I print documents, a vertical black line appears on all the copies if I print more than one page. If I print only ONE page it is fine. Then when I select to print more than one page, it will then add a black link along the edge of the document. This happens no matter the size of the print on the page.
Note: This is not from any scan. I simply have a word doc, or pdf or whatever and when I click to print more than one copy it adds the black line and messes up all my documents.
PRODUCT INFO:
HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer series
Thanks,
Ron

Hi @RHOLT7,
I'd like to help!
To better assist you -
1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon
.
- Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch
Print Quality Report
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
