the installistions manager is not proper. I have Hp DeskJet Ink Advantage 3790.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
Let's troubleshoot the installation issue with your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3790.

Steps to Fix the Installation Issue:

1. Uninstall Previous Installations & Drivers

  1. Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  2. Look for HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3790 and uninstall it.
  3. Press Win + R, type printui.exe /s, and press Enter.
  4. In the Print Server Properties, go to the Drivers tab and remove any HP DeskJet 3790 drivers.
  5. Restart your PC.

2. Download and Install the Latest Drivers

  1. Visit the HP Support website.
  2. Search for "HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3790" and download the Full Feature Software and Driver for your Windows version.
  3. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Try an Alternative Installation Method

Windows Built-in Drivers:

  1. Press Win + R, type control printers, and press Enter.
  2. Click Add a Printer, then select The printer that I want isn’t listed.
  3. Choose Add a local printer and select HP DeskJet 3790 from the list.
  4. Complete the installation and try printing.

HP Smart App Method:

  1. Download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store.
  2. Open the app, click Set up a new printer, and follow the steps.

4. Check Connection (USB/Wi-Fi)

  • For USB Setup: Try different USB ports and cables.
  • For Wi-Fi Setup:
    1. Ensure your printer is connected to the same network as your PC.
    2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the light blinks, then use the HP Smart App to connect.
