Can you fax on HP 5740 Officejet all in one when ink levels are low with a good result?

Hi,
Ink level low won't effect fax function BUT if one ink level is depleted/empty you may not be able to use fax because printer would stop at the warming up stage.

Thank you that just exactly the answer I need; the black cartridge has a warning level and only color shows on printing documents. However, I am able to get around crisis by using another method of data transmission called "zip files."
