Hello,
We have had our printer for a while now and all was working well. However, I tried printing some documents today and it seems to be printing out wonky and missing the top part of the document.
The documents are OK in the print preview. I have checked correct paper size etc and loaded new paper in the tray. We are also having the same issue with scanning. It is not scanning the whole document and it is coming out wonky and incomplete.
I have cleaned the cartridges and done the print alignment procedure but it is still wonky and when I try to scan the alignment page it does not detect it.
Thank you

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
-
Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.
-
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup
.
-
Touch Tools.
-
Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.
Let me know if the same happens with this report.
Do you have another set of cartridges to try printing with? If yes, do try that.
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!

Hi
I printed the print quality page and it is still wonky and the text is very close to the top of the paper. I will attach a photo to show you. I have loaded and reloaded the paper to make sure it isn’t placed incorrectly but the result is still the same.
Thanks
