If your HP 7310e printer is stuck at the code scanning stage during setup, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

 

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

 

Check the Network Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can also try moving the printer closer to the router to improve signal strength.

 

Use the HP Smart App: If you are setting up the printer using the HP Smart app, ensure that the app is updated to the latest version. Try resetting the app and start the setup process again.

 

Re-enter Information: Double-check the information you have entered, such as Wi-Fi password, to ensure it is correct.

 

Update Firmware: If possible, check for and install any firmware updates for the printer.
