Home office. Scan to network drive has worked for years. Today it stopped working with error message "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled." Debug steps taken from control panel are Setup / Tools / Restore Factory Defaults and Setup / Network / Restore Network Defaults. The router has a reserved IP address for the printer MAC address.
The EWS / Scan / Scan to Network folder / Network folder setup screen contains similar error message 'You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer."
There is no password set in Settings / Password settings and Control Panel Lock is NOT selected in Settings / Administrator settings. I am stumped. Please offer a suggestion.

Hi,
From the EWS click the Settings tab, under Security select Administrator Settings and ensure the Digital Send option is enabled.
Click Apply and confirm any change, then check for any difference.
