Hi PugDog24,

Thanks for the link.

I have in no uncertain terms expressed my opinion to the HP management.

Seems I've been banned from this thread, probably from HP itself.  They do not like bad publicity, but are okay with not supporting their products.  I'll send an email to the head as per suggestion.  Hope this message gets out to all those who have been screwed by losing flashplayer.

What a joke!!

Now PugDog's link to Management, so you all can complain has been deleted by the HP censors.

Easy way to prove everyone is happy with this situation.

I got my complaint in in time however, but couldn't save the link unfortunately for anyone else as I didn't expect HP to be so self centered to delete it.

This will probably also be my last allowed post or will be deleted before anyone can read it.

Cheers and good bye HP:

Here is another solution which may work

1. Download and run the Adobe Flash Uninstaller direct from Adobe here (instructions provided on this page how to fully remove Adobe Flash Player) -

https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_the_Adobe_...
2. Restart your computer
3. Uninstalled adobe flash embedded in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge. I have windows 10 64 bit version 1909. To determine this, go to system update history and look through your updates to see what version you have. Then go to the link to down the uninstaller for your version) -http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/search.aspx?q=4577586
4. Download the update and it will uninstall adobe flash.
5. Restart your computer
6. Uninstall HP solution Center, make sure your printer is turned off and not connected to computer
7. Restart Computer
8. Reinstall HP solution Center, note you will have an older version of Flash but not flash player. Once installed check to make sure it is working.
9. Create a restore point in case of future issues or accidental update.

Hallo Bettybl

try the following link

http://www.argestuttgart.homepage.t-online.de/flash/install_flash_player_ax_10.1_ie.exe

Save the file to your computer and if you are using Win 10 you may need to left click on it and select compatibility mode - windows 7 before you start it.

I had the same problem. I have only canceled "Flash player" and downloaded "HP scan and capture" and now I can scan again.
I found "HP scan and capture" in "Microsoft Store"
