Hi,

To better understand  the problem relies with the HP Scan software, or with Microsoft Outlook itself, please right click any file on your PC, such as PDF or Document, select Send To > email recipient - does it launch a New Outlook Message with the file attached or not? This is the same task taken by the HP Software, so of it won’t work for the OS too, this would need to be resolved first.
