Is there a compatibility issue with Mac OS 13.0 Ventura? When I now scan an image, it shows the image in the display...but when I save it to a PDF, there is no image.
If I save it as a JPG, there is an image. Also, if I print it, there is an image. I can also print as a PDF, and there is an image.

I think this has been solved -- see this discussion above: "Solved: Easy Scan saving blank scans after update to Ventura OS 10.6".
Same thing happens using touchscreen on printer/scanner when going to pdf, get a blank screen, but jpg works fine.
Above discussion suggests several workarounds until glitch is fixed.

I am unable to view the solution referenced in your reply. ("Solved: Easy Scan saving blank scans after update to Ventura OS 10.6".) There is no link and I can't locate the discussion.
The only workaround I have discovered is to use the HP Smart app and initiate the scan from there. Neither the HP Easy Scan app nor the printer control pad will work; they only scan a blank pdf.
I'm curious to see the accepted solution for a workaround.
I have an Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. I recently upgraded to Mac OS Ventura 13.0 on a MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019. Since the upgrade, I am unable to scan a document to the computer in pdf format. When I attempt to scan a document as a pdf, the image on the computer is blank. The scanner works fine if I scan the document as a jpeg. Neither the HP Easy Scan app nor the printer control pad will work; they only scan a blank pdf.
