Thank you for your comment regarding my futile efforts to get my HP scanner running.  I have abandoned this printer and purchased a Canon printer/scanner instead. Unlike HP, Canon seems to update their Mac drivers.  I am very disappointed as I have always used HP products and as a windows user, found them to be reliable. Now that I have switched to Mac, I cannot imagine ever purchasing another HP product.

I have a 2012 iMac using Catalina. I kept losing my scans so I deleted HP form my applications and now I'm trying to download Easy Scan and nothing happens. It just spins forever and never installs. What did I do?

Yes. It seems that HP, for whatever reason, has chosen to abandon macOS users.
