Just changed laptop. And get an annoying message every few mins that Scan to computer is no longer Activated.
Scanning works fine Printer to Laptop and from Laptop

Welcome to HP support community.
Double check if the scan to computer option is enabled
- Search Windows for your printer model name, and click the printer name in the list of results. HP Printer Assistant opens.
- Click Scanner Actions, and then click Manage Scan to Computer.
- Click Enable to activate the scan to computer option.
Update the printer firmware
Refer this HP document for the steps to update firmware:- Click here
